Wallace library (US): nutrition related journals

"This guide includes all journals related to Nutrition currently received by Wallace Library. Good range of journals, and broad notion of nutrition related (e.g. includes Pediatrics and food industry journals).

Includes true ezines and web pages for printed journals. Shortish list.

Professional Directories: nutrition links

Useful set of nutrition journals. The organisation is one that lists orthodox and some complementary therapists.

Journals in the MRC Dunn Nutrition Centre library

Although for in-house use, this turns out to be a pretty large list of nutrition relevant journals. However, it has no information on any journal's Internet presence.

Whilst it does have a search engine, this also only returns the TOC without abstract and you cannot confine the search to a particular journal.

American Council on Science and Health news releases

Non-profit body aimed at interpreting scientific research for lay understanding. According to the web site it works on "consumer education consortium concerned with issues related to food, nutrition, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, lifestyle, the environment and health. " The site has articles and press releases on a range of nutrition related topics, as well as other public health issues.

Australian Nutrition Foundation newsletter

Australia's leading nutrition education organisation has the latest newsletter (nicely illustrated) on-line.

BASF Nutritional Newsletter

Quarterly newsletter on fnutrition and health from this international vitamin manufacturer. the articles appear in full but plain text and although they cover a wide range of topics there is naturally some focus on the role of vitamins, food fortification etc.

Byting In

Newsletter related to computers in dietetics. A selection of full text articles provided on-line. "Byting In addresses computer applications related to foodservice, clinical nutrition management, nutritional analysis, and RD private practice/consulting.". The newsletter is available by subscription in email form from the company which publishes it, which also has a range of other nutrition software.

Clinical Pearls

A Health letter on Current Research in nutrition and preventive medicine. Table of Contents for current issue and can request free issue (by mail), but otherwise there is no content available on-line.

Doctors Guide - Metabolic and nutritional news

Every month or so this medical cybersite puts up a news story related to nutrition. Tends to focus on drug and supplementary food treatments.

Food and Nutrition Digest

Cooperative extension department from Univ.of Kansas produce this. Lots of pay oriented food and food safety stories. Available in both html and Adobe formats. Each bimonthly issue has a table of contents and there is an index.
